The majority of the past year I have spent in my home office. And I am sure most of you can relate. Since working so much from home, I realized how important a healthy work environment is. I have switched from sitting on the kitchen table to investing in a height-adjustable desk and a proper ergonomic chair. I sit right by the window so I get a least some kind of daylight in and I make sure to walk as much as possible in my breaks. 

One thing I haven't putten much thought into was the air quality in my office. Of course, I open the window every couple of hours. But we live on a very busy street in one of the biggest cities in Germany. So is that even a good idea? However, not only the air pollution was slowly a concern for me, but I also noticed my eyes getting irritated and my nose getting dry very quickly when I spend too much time at home. Our home has only recently been constructed and I learned that a lot of new buildings have a problem with their humidity levels as they tend to be too low. So I went on a mission to look for an air purifier, humidifier and if possible a fan, so I don't need to get another device once summer rolls around.

I use it on a daily basis and it honestly changed the home office game for me! I can feel the air being so much healthier. My eyes and nose are very happy also. I can constantly monitor the air quality in my room with my phone and even get a notification on my apple watch when I need to refill the water in my humidifier (for me that is every couple of days or so). I can even control the device with my phone or iPad so I never have to look for the remote. So convenient!

I highly recommend looking into the air quality in your home, whether you work from home or not. It is so worth it!
