How To Achieve That Holiday Glow.
A powder and a glowy look might not seem to be the perfect pair. However, glowy foundations and concealer tend to not last very long on me so I always depend on finishing up my base products with a powder. At the same time, you don't want your powder to be too heavy and to take away from the products underneath. I recently discovered my new love, the Bobbi Brown Nude Finish Illuminating Powder. Honestly the best "barely there" powder I have ever come across.
The Serum
I always think that your base is even more important than the foundation you use. I have been raving about the By Terry Cellularose Serums for ages. It gives you a gorgeous glow that doesn't look glittery or oily. I often even wear it on its own without any makeup on top. I have all three shades and choose them according to my mood and the look I want to go for.
The Highlighter
How would this be a post about glowy makeup products when I wouldn't mention at least one highlighter? Exactly. My current obsession is the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Highlighter in "Heatwave". Honestly such a beautiful and fine highlighter. But be warned, it is fine but potent. If I want a more subtle highlighter for every day I use the By Terry Compact Expert in Ivory Fair.
What are your fave products for a holiday glow?
