The Work Backpack You Need.

 *This Post contains PR Samples

I have recently started a new job and took this as an opportunity to re-think my work wardrobe. I have invested in some more comfortable boots for my commute (even though they fell apart on the second day.. but that's a story for another day). However, I quickly noticed that I am carrying around a lot of things and I just don't have the right organization for it. Also, as my bag got pretty heavy over time I started to get backaches. So it was time for me to look into a practical and cute work bag option.

And obviously, Everlane pulls through, yet again. It is no secret that I am a huge fan of their pieces. Their cashmere dresses are a dream btw, totally recommend! So I knew this would also not let me down. I loved how simple and streamlined their ReNew Transit Backpack is. Also.. the choice of colours is just beautiful. I opted for the warm charcoal and am over the moon with my decision. It really is a gorgeous warm kind of grey. It goes with everything in my wardrobe and makes my commute from and to work just a bit more fun and easy!

The bag itself is super lightweight, so it won't add much weight to the stuff you are already having to carry around. YAY!

I am now considering to also get the light shade (warm quartz)...

Which is your fave shade?
Have you tried any Everlane pieces yet?

Let me know!

My Winter Perfume Collection.

 *This post contains PR Samples

Winter Perfumes Flatlay

I recently showed you guys my winter skincare routine. However, not only does my skincare (and wardrobe) change during the colder months but I also gravitate towards more intense and deeper perfumes. So today I will share with you my go-to winter perfumes and why I love them so much. Also, it's pure coincidence that most of the flacons are black. I am not trying to match them to my wardrobe... or am I?

Yves Saint Laurent YSL Libre Perfume

YSL Libre

The Yves Saint Laurent Libre Perfume is quite a recent launch and I am sure you have already seen it all over Instagram. I mean it really is such a gorgeous bottle, isn't it? However, not only the outside is beautiful, the inside of this gorgeous sent is just as beautiful. Probably more on the subtle side when it comes to my winter perfumes, but that makes it perfect for every day. I am obsessed.

Chloe Love Perfume

Chloe Love

Chloe Love is a classic for me. I remember trying it the first time at Heathrow Airport with my mum and we both fell in love. It's actually quite different to the other scents. It is a very powdery and elegant perfume, simply unique. I suggest you try it when you get the chance.

Givenchy L'Interdit Intense Perfume

Givenchy L'Interdit Intense

Okay, so the Givenchy L'Interdit Intense Perfume is the latest addition to my collection. I already used up the regular Givenchy L'Interdit and as I love more intense scents around this time of the year, I decided to go for the intense version of this gorgeous scent. And what can I say, I love it even more! I actually get the most compliments when I wear this perfume.

Giorgio Armani Si Intense Perfume

Giorgio Armani Si Intense

Giorgio Armani Si Intense is yet again another Intense version of a classic perfume. But with this one I must say I was not a huge fan of the original, something about it felt quite "basic" to me. But this version is absolutely up my street.

Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Perfume

YSL Black Opium

Talking about classics, everyone needs Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium in their collection. This really is a very "out there" scent but in the best way possible. I always wear it on nights out and sometimes just during the day when I want to feel powerful. I adore this one and can't imagine being without it.

What are your go-to winter perfumes?

The Perfect Lighting With Dyson | Lightcycle Morph.

*This post contains PR Samples

One major aspect that you always should consider when thinking about the interiors of any space is the lighting. I think a lot of different light sources give you the option to create the exact mood that you want for the room and for the time of day. Simply relying on one single central lamp and call it a day does little to nothing for your home. I believe adding different indirect and direct lamps is the way to go.

I recently noticed that I am missing a floor lamp next to my couch. However, I wanted it to be as versatile as possible. I was looking for a lamp I can use to work or read on my couch but I also wanted it to be a dimmable indirect light source when I just want cosy vibes in the livingroom. Additionally, I also wanted it to work as a desk lamp for my home office set up, right next to the couch. Sounds like a lot to ask for but of course, Dyson pulls through and made exactly that lamp.

The Dyson Lightcycle Morph Floorlamp is inspired by natural lighting. It can actually adjust the brightness and temperature of the light to the current daylight situation of your location through GPS. You can use it as a work-, indirect-, object or ambient light. You even have the option for the light to automatically switch on or off depending if it detects movement or not. So no need to worry about whether or not you switched the light off before leaving your home. How amazing is that?

I personally use it mostly as a work light during the day and as ambient lighting in the evenings. I just love how it does two jobs in one.

And do we have to talk about how chic and minimal the design is? It really compliments the modern interiors of my home and everyone who has come to visit since has asked about it. So it definitely is a conversation piece in any room. I chose the black version as it goes best with the rest of my interiors, but I do love the white version as well.

Which one would be your choice?

Beauty Brand Focus | Bobbi Brown.

*This post contains PR Samples.

Bobbi Brown Makeup Products

Bobbi Brown Makeup Products

Just a few months ago I didn't own anything from Bobbi Brown. However, my obsession all started with their Luxe Lip Color in "Pale Mauve". I picked it up on a random shopping spree and have worn it every day since. The formula is lightweight and moisturizing and the colour is seriously to die for, the perfect pinky nude! Since then I am hooked on Bobbi Brown products, so I thought I would share with you my fave products so far.

The Lipstick

As I said, the Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color is what started my obsession with the brand. I am very picky when it comes to my lipsticks as I have tried so many different ones over the years. I don't like sticky or too heavy formulas but at the same time, I want the lipstick to be as opaque as possible. This one really hits the spot for me!

The Powder

Because I was running out of my Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish Powder I decided to pick up the Bobbi Brown Nude Finish Illuminating Powder. I always need a bit of powder to set my makeup but I still want it to look glowy and natural. This powder is basically invisible but still gives you a gorgeous glow and adds some longevity to your makeup. A new staple in my makeup bag!

The Eyeliner

There are two things I can't get enough of and they are lipsticks and eyeliner. I wear a wing every single day so I need an eyeliner that easy to use, longlasting and opaque. There is nothing worse than an eyeliner that is too liquidy and only gives you a grey stain rather than a deep black line. This Bobbi Brown Ink Liner ticks all the boxes for me!

The Eyebrow Pencil

What is a good winged liner without the perfect eyebrows framing them? Exactly. The Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil is a godsend. The shade 'Blonde' works perfectly for my cool-toned brown hair. I also love that the pencil is not too sheer but also not too opaque at the same time. Love it!

The Foundation Brush

I have been using a sponge to apply my foundation for years now. I never used to get on with brushes, because they just don't blend in the product as much as I would like it. But because I wanted to give a foundation brush one last shot I got myself the Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Face Brush. And what can I say... I adore it! It works wonders with my It Cosmetics CC Cream and blends it in perfectly without losing too much coverage. YAY!

Have you tried any Bobbi Brown products yet?

The Gap In My Shoe Closet I Didn't Know I Had.

*This post contains PR Samples

We recently went on a road trip to Italy and while thinking about what to pack, I realized I don't have any comfortable sneakers that are chich at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I have quite a few athletic ones which are so comfortable but just don't look that great with dresses are a nice coat. And as I wanted to pack as minimal as possible I really needed to fill that gap in my shoe closet and get a more versatile pair.

While researching which sneaker would tick all the boxes for me, I went back to my trusty Everlane website and I immediately found what I was looking for: The Everlane Court Sneaker. I decided to go for a timeless black colour. But I have to admit I almost caved and got the dusty rose pair... such a dreamy shade!

Once they arrived at my doorstep I was immediately in love! The shape is so flattering, as they make my feet quite small and slim, which is normally not the case. For a trial round, I wore them for a stroll around IKEA and I just loved how they felt, seriously so comfy. And of course, they also served me so well in Italy. Basically the only shoe I wore the entire trip. They were great for light hikes between vineyards in Tuscany or strolling around Florence. A dream.

What are your go-to comfy but chic shoes?
