Valentine's Day | Gift Guide.

*| This Post contains PR Samples

Valentine's Day is only a few weeks away. And as much as I think that you really don't need a set day to spoil your loved ones, I still believe a day like this can be a beautiful reminder to make time for each other... and if you want: get your partner a little something to make the day even more special. Or: Why not take make the day about you and treat yourself a bit? Whatever your plans are, today I made a little edit to give you some Valentine's Day gift ideas... for your partner or yourself!

You really can't go wrong with beauty-gifts for any occasion, but Valentine's Day is the perfect opportunity to gift a new (or long-time favourite) scent. I personally don't like to buy myself a new perfume all that often. It just feels a bit unnecessary and most of the time I have other things on my mind that I need/ want to invest money in. But every time I get perfume as a gift, it's such a luxurious treat that I really enjoy. Another plus is that I tend to associate scents with events or people. So if you gift your partner a new scent, he or she might remember you every time they wear it.

If your loved one is not really into scents though, I think skincare or a candle can be a great alternative. As much as I love buying myself skincare, it again feels a bit unnecessary to buy a new product, especially if you still have some sitting on your shelves. However, luxurious products like the By Terry CC Serum or gadgets like the Foreo Luna 2 for Men are great gift ideas that you rarely want to splurge on yourself.

And candles.. seriously can anyone ever have too many candles?

  9. Perfumes are always a great idea for Valentine's day. Nowadays I tend to prefer experiences though - like treating my boyfriend to a nice dinner at the restaurant or a day out. This year we'll be in Rome for Valentine's day so I can't wait to find something fun for us to do!
