Valentine's Day | Gift Guide.

*| This Post contains PR Samples

Valentine's Day is only a few weeks away. And as much as I think that you really don't need a set day to spoil your loved ones, I still believe a day like this can be a beautiful reminder to make time for each other... and if you want: get your partner a little something to make the day even more special. Or: Why not take make the day about you and treat yourself a bit? Whatever your plans are, today I made a little edit to give you some Valentine's Day gift ideas... for your partner or yourself!

You really can't go wrong with beauty-gifts for any occasion, but Valentine's Day is the perfect opportunity to gift a new (or long-time favourite) scent. I personally don't like to buy myself a new perfume all that often. It just feels a bit unnecessary and most of the time I have other things on my mind that I need/ want to invest money in. But every time I get perfume as a gift, it's such a luxurious treat that I really enjoy. Another plus is that I tend to associate scents with events or people. So if you gift your partner a new scent, he or she might remember you every time they wear it.

If your loved one is not really into scents though, I think skincare or a candle can be a great alternative. As much as I love buying myself skincare, it again feels a bit unnecessary to buy a new product, especially if you still have some sitting on your shelves. However, luxurious products like the By Terry CC Serum or gadgets like the Foreo Luna 2 for Men are great gift ideas that you rarely want to splurge on yourself.

And candles.. seriously can anyone ever have too many candles?

Let's Talk About Coffee Table Books.

Whenever I don't know how to style a shelf, a dresser or any other random corner there is one thing that normally always does the job: the coffee table book. Yes, you heard right. Coffee table books are not only for your coffee table. I know, shocking. But what exactly makes a book a coffee table book? It is usually a big, normally hard-covered book which mainly consists of a lot of pictures and is intended to entertain you or guests. I and my boyfriend are both obsessed with collecting cute books, especially this category. So here are some of my current faves and some of my wishlist as well in my two fave categories: fashion and travel.

Do you love coffee table books? What is your fave one?
