My Beauty Must-Haves | Spring Edit.

After having some beautiful sunny Easter days a few weeks back, the weather seemed to be quite undecided whether or not it is spring yet. In the last couple of days however the sun has made a comeback and I thought I would take the opportunity to share with you my current beauty must-haves. Whenever spring comes around I love to switch to very light products, which almost give me the 'no makeup'-makeup look. So here are my fave products to achieve exactly that.

This is a product I have always been intrigued by but I was always so unsure about getting it. The price is quite high for something I wasn't quite sure about what it exactly does. But now that I have finally bit the bullet I can't live without it. It's basically a bronzing serum with skincare benefits. The coverage is almost nonexisting, so if you need a lot of coverage this might be more of a base for you. I love to wear it on its own on days where I like to look like I am not wearing anything but I want my skin to look more alive and not as dull and pale as it normally does. It comes in three shades and I went for the lightest one. If you are pale this is quite good, but if you have a bit color to your skin, go for the medium or even the dark one. They sheer out quite a lot so you don't have to be scared that it won't match your skin tone.

A product I have been loving years now is the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadow sticks. They are so easy to use and just look gorgeous and natural. I love the blond opal shade for spring. It gives my eyelids a bit of a glow and dimensions without looking like I put a lot of effort into it.

My go-to bronzer for almost 3 years in a row has been the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess bronzer. There is not a lot that I can say about it other than that the formula blends beautifully and on me, it really looks like bronzed skin, not too red and not too ashy.

It's no secret that I love my Tom Ford lipsticks so of course, I had to feature one in this post. 'Paper Doll' is a beautiful light pink which is perfect for a spring look.

The YSL highlighter in 'Pearl' looks quite intense in the pan but is actually very subtle once you apply it. I just love this highlighter on a natural makeup day.

What are your go-to products for the spring time?

The Work Shoes That Are Actually Comfortable.

*PR Samples included
As much as I love smart clothing like blazers and chic dresses, one thing I always struggle with is finding work appropriate shoes that are actually comfortable. A few weeks back I went on a mission to find the most comfortable and chic shoes and as always Next did not disappoint. So today I thought I would show you the latest additions to my shoe closet.

The Heels
One of the most classic styles when it comes to office shoes are probably heels. I normally shy away from pointy heels, as they tend to be the most painful ones. But the forever comfort line by Next really converted me and I can finally wear a pair of heels for longer than just an hour at a time. Yay!

The Loafers
The loafer has become such a major trend shoe over the last few years and I don't see it going anywhere any time soon. So, of course, I had to include a pair.

The Sandals
When it gets hotter I love to wear a pair of sandals to work. But of course, they still have to look chic. So here are some of my faves.

What are your go-to shoes for the office?

Let's Talk About Yoga.

A few months back I already talked a bit about meditation and yoga. I was doing yoga on and off over the past couple of years. But this year I really started to take it more seriously. It all started with a 30-day challenge I did with 'Yoga with Adriene' on Youtube. This way I did one yoga session each day all the way through January and what can I say. I became completely obsessed.

Versatility
I never realized how versatile yoga can be. Some sessions are so calm and almost like meditating, some are all about stretching out your body and some feel like a full-on workout. So there is honestly something for every mood.

Flexibility
I also love how flexible yoga can be. You can basically do it anytime, anywhere. Be it an energizing morning session or a relaxing evening session, you can choose what you need and most importantly when your schedule allows it. I even did yoga when I was traveling, a hotel room is perfectly fine for a quick yoga workout... and if you want you can also do it outside in the park.

Self-care
Yoga really taught me how to work for and with your body, not against it. Sometimes working out can feel like you are fighting your own body and all the flaws it has. Yoga, however, is more about doing something good for yourself and especially about listening to your body and what it needs right now.

Relaxation
Sometimes it's really hard for me to wind down in the evening, which ultimately almost always affects my sleep. But a calming yoga session in the night really helps me to take my mind off everything else. I especially love to wear something extra comfy and light a candle when I do my night time yoga session.

Have you ever tried yoga?

The Luxury Mothers Day Gift Guide | Beauty.

It is almost Mother's Day. Just like Valentines Day, I don't think you need a special day to treat your loved ones, but having a dedicated day to remind them that they are loved sounds good to me. Today I want to share with you some luxury beauty gift ideas to treat your mother to (or even yourself...).

If I think about high-end makeup, especially lipsticks, Tom Ford is always on top of my list. I have been falling in love with their lipsticks for years now and have quite the collection myself. Their packaging is so luxurious and so is their formula and color range. The perfect gift idea!

Another luxury brand I love is YSL beauty. Their Rouge Volupte Shine lipsticks are lighter and sheerer than the Tom Ford ones. So they are just perfect for a natural every-day look.

The latest addition to my perfume collection is Narciso Poudree. As the name suggests a very powdery and elegant scent, just like I love it. It's a unique brand and makes for the perfect gift.

Chloe Love
Not only is the name perfect for a Mother's Day gift but it also smells divine. Similar to Narciso Poudree, Chloe Love is a very powdery and grown-up scent. I have been loving it for years and so has my mother. So whenever she runs out I like to surprise her with a new bottle.

An absolute classic when it comes to luxurious perfumes is Chanel No.5. I admit that it might not be everyone's fave perfume as it is quite intense but I love the uniqueness of it. I first tried it around five years ago in London and since then it has been a perfume that I love to wear on special occasions like birthdays and Christmas.

If your mother loves quick and easy makeup products then you should consider treating her to some By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadow sticks. I use mine all the time. They blend like a dream and look beautiful on their own. Perfect for lazy makeup days (aka the days where I treat myself to an extra 15 minutes of sleep).
