What To Wear | Festive Edit.

{This post contains PR Samples by Kurt Geiger, send to me with no obligation to write this post)

If you have been following me for a while (or you've just taken a look at my Instagram) I am all about the neutrals. I love a good all black look or like to break it up with beige and white tones with the occasional blush detail. So bright colors, like red, are not something I am usually drawn to. But when it comes to Christmas time, I just need all the red tones and sparkles. So today I thought I would share with you what I will be wearing on Christmas and maybe even give you some inspo what to wear yourself this festive season.

For me, it is all about a red dress on Christmas. Every year, I love to buy myself a new red dress to wear on Christmas. I have done this for years and years now and don't see myself stopping anytime soon. But I definitely learned to start looking in October already, as red dresses are selling out quickly in December... so don't leave your dress shopping to the last minute.

I am normally more a flats kinda girl, but Christmas and New Years are the only times of the year I love to wear a beautiful pair of heels. It just feels that bit more special. If you are still on the hunt for a beautiful pair of sock boots, I can only recommend the Kurt Geiger Stiletto Heeled Sock Boots. So comfy and surprisingly easy to walk in. A must-have!

Here I love to go all out, be it patterns, sequins or bright colors. A fun bag can really elevate your festive outfit. Especially when you go for a plain dress, a sparkly bag can make your Christmas Party look just that much more special.

What is your go-to look for the festive season?
x Lisa

  2. Ah, those heels look amazing! Although a tad dangerous if there’s ice covering the ground on Christmas. But still my go-to Christmas outfit definitely includes heels and a statement bag but this year I want to opt for some sparkle on the dress front. Sequens or metallic fabrics, here I come! xx

  22. I live for red dresses. It's the festive equivalent to the little black dress in the back of our closets. The list you've created is right on point. The perfect heels and bag go a long way. This year I plan on dressing for work and dressing down for the celebrations happening after work. Your ideas can easily transition from day to night. Thanks, Lisa! x
