In my last post, I have talked you through my Christmas outfit this year. And while I was shooting it, I just thought why not also show you my makeup look? I am by no means a professional at makeup, so I am always a bit hesitant at showing you my looks... but I personally love to see what non-makeup artists like to use and how it looks on them.. so maybe that's something you also enjoy? Anyway.. here we go.

The Base
Just like the rest of the year, I am all about a glowy and natural base. But I guess, during the festive season I like to go all out with all the luminous products. Firstly, I love the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter under my makeup to help with the natural looking glow. The It Cosmetics cc cream helps to even out my tone without looking cakey. And of course, the star of the show is Dior Air Luminizer.. can't go wrong with it!

The Eyes
Normally I am not someone for a lot of eyeshadow. But during Christmas time I just can't resist a bit of sparkle. I used multiple shadows and products for a subtle but sparkly gold shadow. My faves for this are the YSL metal shadow, the gold shade from the tarte tartelette in bloom palette and the CT cream shadow in 'jean'. A dream... and of course I had to go for my signature liner. However, to soften the contrast between lipstick and liner I opted for a brown liner.

The Lips
Similar to my Christmas outfit, Christmas and New Year's Eve are the only occasions when I am drawn to bold colors. Normally I am all about the perfect nude lips. This year I decided to go tone in tone with my dress and chose the liquid lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury in Screen Siren. So long lasting and comfortable.

What is your go-to makeup look for the festive season?
