There are few things that I just can't stop buying. Handbags, boots, sunglasses and... WATCHES! This accessory can elevate your outfit immediately. I have to admit, I this is what a watch is to me.. an accessory. I rarely use it to check the time. I mean, does anyone still do that? I automatically take a look at my phone for that.

Anyway, I though today I would show you my current watch collection. The emphasis is on current. I know there will be a new one soon... or maybe two?

The Ordinary | My Favourite Products.

*{This post contains affiliate links}

The hype around The Ordinary products hasn't faded yet. And I have to admit, even I am all about it. If you remember, I wrote a post a few months back about the products I got. Today I want to update you with some additional thoughts and also with a few new products that have found their way into my collection. I got all of these products from Asos (click here), I know you can order on their website as well but I just find Asos so convenient.

 Let's start with the first products I got..

It is simple and that's what I love about it. A lot of face oils these days have a variety of different ingredients. This one only has one. And it does what it promises. When I have extremely dry skin I use this at night and the dryness disappears overnight. A lifesaver! Especially now that it's colder I find myself using it way more than I did when I first got it.

Such a godsend for everyone with dry skin. I mostly apply it in the morning under my moisturizer. It feels like my moisturizer and this serum are working so well together. I just adore this product. Also, it feels ultra light and not oily on the skin so I can wear it under makeup without having to worry. My bottle is almost over and I will order a backup asap.

I was looking for a product containing Vitamin C, as I was really lacking this in my routine. And as you know, Vitamin C brightens your skin and I am all about that bright and glowy skin. I decided on this one as it is also supposed to have anti ageing benefits. I mainly used this at night as a serum. I have nothing bad to say about this product. But I think this is one of those that you need to use for a very long time to see any improvement, or it just doesn't work on me. I have switched to a different serum at night (the retinoid) and I see such a drastic difference every time.

I never really suffer from breakouts, but from time to time (better said once a month) I get one or two blemishes. Then I love to have something on hand to help me out. Of course, you can never expect a miracle, but this solution really helped me out and minimised those breakouts. But I would say if you have sensitive or dry skin, only use it on the problem area, when you use it on your whole face I find it way too harsh! I still get this out every now and then when I have a breakout.. and it really works wonders.

Now onto the things I got about one or two months ago..

If I would have to recommend one product it has to be this one. This is such a miracle product! I and my boyfriend both use it. But it is recommended to only use it at night. Some people can react to the Retinoid but for me, it was not the case, even though my skin is quite sensitive at times. I use it around 5 or 6 nights of the week.. so almost daily. I wake up with smooth and even skin in the morning.. OBSESSED! It has anti ageing properties and helps with breakouts and other skin troubles. if you don't use it in your skincare routine yet I highly recommend reading about the benefits.

This is a peeling which I use about once a week. There is also a less harsh version with 5% but I personally don't mind the 10%. I really like this product and feel very refreshed after using it. But it certainly does not beat my Retinoid.

I can't tell you too much about this one. My boyfriend is the one using it mainly. It is supposed to help with blemishes and reduces the oiliness of the skin. He absolutely loves this and has been using it for months now. He uses it as a serum in the morning.

This serum I got because of a recommendation of a friend. I have a bit of pigmentation around my nose and also tend to have quite a lot of redness on my skin. My pale skin colour doesn't really help to hide it. This serum is supposed to brighten the complexion. I use it in the morning after my Hyaluronic Acid. It feels great and I definitely see a difference with it.

So this is my collection. What have you tried so far? By the way, did you know that The Ordinary has a guide on their website which helps you to choose the products according to your skin type? It also explains when to use them and which ones are a great combination.

I know it can be quite tricky to buy beauty and skincare products online, but if you do your research right it can be even easier than feeling overwhelmed with all the options in a store.

The Must-Have Boots | Autumn Edit.

{Advertisement - This post was written in collaboration with NEXT UK}
*{This post contains affiliate links}

Who else just lives for autumn/winter fashion? It is just so much more fun than summer clothing. I adore boots, coats, scarves.. you name it. Today I want to share with you my staples when it comes to boots in the colder months. Let's go!

This one has to be my number one staple. It is so versatile and easy to throw on. And the most important: comfortable. Because they are so flat I love to wear them on a daily basis. In these, I don't get any blisters even when I run around the city the whole day. But I have to say some Chelsea boots need some breaking in. These ones are so soft and cushioned, that they feel like a cloud. Absolute recommendation.

This is a more dressy boot. I usually wear this one in the evenings or on days where I know I don't have to walk non-stop. With that being said, they are still extremely comfortable for a heel. I know some of you might think this isn't even a "proper" heel, but trust me.. everything above 2cm hurts my feet but these don't. A godsend.

When I am not in the mood for a pointy boot, I love this pair. The heel is a bit higher, but they are so so flattering. I love to pair them with black tights and dresses. Also, they are my boyfriends fave. Another staple every girl should have in their wardrobe.

What are your go-to shoes at the moment? I would love to know!

Five Tips on How To Be More Productive.

Going to university, Blogging, Instagramming and working out almost daily can be a bit overwhelming at times. Especially if you don't want to "half-ass" things and you want to give your all to each and every single thing you are doing in your life. For you, it might not be the exact same constellation. Maybe you have multiple jobs, maybe you have children. Whatever it is, juggling the duties and the fun parts of your life can be stressful and time-consuming. That's why it is important to be productive with your time. When you schedule your tasks wisely you will be surprised to see how much more you can fit in your day. Even if it is more "me time".

So today I want to share with you my 5 Tips on how to be more productive.

1. Say no (sometimes).
Well, that sounds a bit counterproductive, doesn't it?
But think about it. How often have you said yes to something, whether it was an event or just another work task, which you didn't necessarily have to do and you even knew it would put so much more on your already full plate. But you felt like you couldn't say no? Well, I am here to tell you it is okay to say no from time to time. I think it's even healthy. Yes, if you have nothing to do and your colleague asks you if you can step in for him for a day because something came up, totally do it! But if you already know you will have to work late and you also have other important appointments, maybe try and find another solution. You don't have to be rude, be understanding and explain your situation. Everyone understands how busy life can get. The same goes for social obligations. Your friends will understand when you can't make it. In fact, they will be so much happier when you meet them and you have actually time to talk to them rather than staring at your phone replying to your emails. So make time when you actually can, not when you think you have to.

2. Take time for yourself.
Another point which sounds quite odd. Let me explain. Making time for yourself, and I mean, really time for yourself, not writing emails while watching Gossip Girl, is so crucial. You will be so much more relaxed and therefore so much more focused when you get back to work. And guess what? That will make you even more productive. An hour of extremely focused working on a project can be so much more beneficial than staring at the time schedule and unanswered emails for hours because you are overwhelmed with everything. So give yourself a bit more time to unwind, you will be surprised how much more productive you will work.

3. To-do lists are key.
You know that overwhelming feeling having so many thoughts and tasks in your head and you don't know where to start? Writing it down is the answer. Having a list that you can follow is so important. Somehow I feel like I make more room in my head by writing down what I have to do. Like I "delete" my internal list and therefore have space for actual productive thoughts. So if you are not a fan of lists, maybe try a different kind? I personally love writing on actual paper, lists on my phone just confuse me. But maybe that's exactly what works for you. Just give it a go! You can even try and structure your list according to different projects, your private life, admin things and so on.

4. Clean space, clean mind.
This one is more of a subjective topic. I heard there are people who work the best in a 'creative mess'. But even imagining this gives me a headache. I need my surroundings to be organised and clean. Dirty dishes in the sink or a pile of laundry that is waiting to be folded and stored in the closet are the death to my productivity. So before I start working I need to tidy. I think I even drive my boyfriend mad with that but I can't help it. I can be so much more focused when everything else is organised. How is that for you? Creative mess or clean space?

5. Sundays are golden.
I know I have said to take more time for yourself and Sundays are mostly the day we like to take off and relax. And you still can! I just love to take 30 minutes every Sunday to plan my week ahead. I just look over the appointments I have, the goals I have to achieve and maybe start writing my to-do lists. This way I start fresh and motivated into the new week.

What are your tips?
