The Summer Makeup Edit | Bronze Eyes.

One of my go-to looks in the summer is a bronzy eye-look. Especially when it has a red or purple undertone to make my green eyes pop even more. This is exactly what I love about bronze summer looks.. it can have a lot of different tones to it to make it customised to your complexion and eye colour. I also really love quite cool toned looks with more of a silver shimmer instead of a gold one. That doesn't suit me that well but I am sure there are a lot of girls out there who look stunning with that!

Today I want to share with you, my go-to bronzy eye makeup for the summer time. So let's get started.

For the actual colour on my eyelids, I love simple products. I am by far not a makeup artist so I am all for the simple products. For this, I love the By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock. This is such a dream product. Easy to apply and blend. It's only one product but it gives you a really easy and beautiful shadow. One of my all-time favourites and I can't wait to pick up more colours in the future. 

Sticking with easy products, I have recently started to only use a tinted brow gel on my eyebrows. I think especially on those hot days I can't be bothered to spend ages on my brows, which I normally do. Exactly for those days, I love my Givenchy Mister Brow Filler in 01 Brunette. Simple product but great results. 

For me, this wouldn't be a summer look without two things: brown eyeliner and a pretty highlighter of course. Let's start with the liner. For my standard wing, I love to use my Guerlain Fluid Eyeliner in 05 Brun Cendre. Such a gorgeous opaque true brown which lasts even on the hottest of days. 

For my lower lashline, I like to use a bit of YSL Dessin du Regard Waterproof Liner in 02 Brun Danger. Again, very opaque and long lasting. Exactly what I need on those hot summer days. 

Let's get to highlighter.. of course, I always need highlighter on my face. I just can't live without it! But no eye look is complete with a bit of glow under the browbone and in the inner corners of the eyes. For this, I am currently loving the Dior Nude Air Luminizer. A very subtle highlighter which gives you that glow without being glittery. I love my Becca Champagne Pop but this one is my go-to for my daily makeup.

For mascara, I am still loving and using my YSL The Shock Mascara in black. It gives me incredible volume and almost a false lash effect (which I LOVE). So if you love dramatic lashes this one is for you! I also sometimes wear false lashes over this mascara if I feel super dramatic that day.
Concealer is another must for me in the summer time as I tend to skip the foundation part completely. Here I use my trusty Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer in 01 Light. I just haven't found a better one.

Last but not least I want to quickly mention a nude lipstick I have discovered recently. It goes with everything, but what is a better combination than bronzy eyes and nude lips? The dream! I am talking about the YSL Rouge Pur Couture in 05 Beige Etrusque.
