NEW IN - D&G sunglasses.

{Advertisement - This post was written in collaboration with D&G}

If you know me, you know that I love sunglasses. Not just collecting them, I wear one all the time. My boyfriend actually makes fun of me for wearing sunnies even when there is no sun at all. But I just can't help myself. I really do have sensitive eyes and they tend to water easily when it is windy, cold, hot or sunny haha. But I can't deny that I just love the look of a nice pair of oversized and dramatic sunglasses in any kind of weather.

I recently got a new pair of D&G sunglasses with prescription (now I can finally see something when I am driving and want to wear sunnies haha) from the online shop Misterspex.

On their website, they have an amazing variety of glasses and sunglasses and even contact lenses. You can get the sunglasses with or without prescription. But it is not your standard eyewear webshop. Besides their incredible range of different designer glasses, they even have their own collection which is equally as stylish but is much more affordable.

When I went on their website to choose my favourite model I had to spend ages looking through all the different ones. In the end I was left with around 3 pairs that I absolutely loved. But how can one decide without trying them on?

Of course, you can always go to your local shops and look at the models and then order them online. But seriously.. who has the time? Not me. Misterspex has a service where you can order your favourite models for free, try them on and send them back and get the one you liked the most made with your prescription. How cool is that? Another thing you can do is their virtual try on service. The website uses your webcam and you can see yourself with the glasses. This way you can see if the colour and the shape suits you. And this is exactly what I did. After virtually trying on a few different pairs I decided on these Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses. I wanted something classic but still statement.. so these were the perfect fit.

After I have chosen my favourite pair I went to the checkout. There you have a few different options. First of all, you have to decide if you want them with or without prescription. If you decide for the first option you are asked for the details of your prescription. If you are unsure about anything you can call their service or even get an appointment with one of their partner opticians. Again.. amazing service. After I was done with this step I had to make some decisions about the actual lenses. You can choose the standard ones (brown, green or grey) or you can even get it true to the original lens. I personally never heard of that.. amazing.

After making all the choices regarding the model and the lenses I placed the order.. and then I just had to wait. The estimated delivery time for prescription glasses is 5-13 working days. I was pleasantly surprised when they reached me after only 4 days.. YAY!

I will definitely get all my future glasses from their shop. Perfect service and so much less time consuming than going to your local optician (and of course way cheaper..). You can't ask for much more than that.

And now I would love to know about your favourite designer for sunglasses.. next on my wishlist are some Miu Miu ones.. so dreamy!

What I think about my Fitbit Blaze.

For my birthday last year, my boyfriend got me the Fitbit Blaze. I have tried some other fitness trackers in the past but never really stuck to them. Mostly I got just bored of looking into the app.. so I thought maybe it will be different with this one, as it has a proper screen and is just a little more interactive. If you want to know if I still use it 6 months after my birthday and what I think about it, keep on reading.

Let's start why I even wanted a fitness tracker. Well, I think I am pretty good at eating healthy. Haha at least I have the knowledge and if I put my mind to it, it's relatively easy for me. But when it comes to working out, I struggle.. I really struggle. So I need something that motivates me, I need numbers, something visual. So I love seeing the burned calories, my step count and the number of days I have been working out. It just motivates me so much more. So, is this Fitbit Blaze worth the relatively high price?

I would say: YES. I am still wearing it every day since I got it in september last year. Of course, there have been a couple of days where I haven't worn it because I wanted to wear some other watch. But my normal watch collection definitely got neglected in the last six months.. and that really means something.

I still enjoy to track my sleep, control my (resting) heart rate and count my steps, but there is so much more to this tracker. I always feel like it is a hybrid of a smartwatch and a fitness tracker. Besides the usual fitness data, you can also get your smartphone notifications on your Blaze.. like Phonecalls, Messages, WhatsApp messages, Instagram notifications and the list goes on and on. Also, you have a timer function which of course you can use for working out, but I also love it for when I am cooking or do other things where I need to measure time. Another great feature is the ability to set silent alarms (vibrations). I personally use it to remind myself to post on Instagram.. haha. You can set different alarms for different days, it's amazing.

One thing that I love to use while working out is that I can change my music playing on my phone via my Fitbit. So no need to get my phone out while I am running.. love it.

Another positive I would say is the battery life. The battery lasts easily 4 days and that allows me to even wear it in the nights and also use the sleep tracking features.

Last but not least.. you can change the straps of the watch. Yes, you heard right.. this fitness tracker and smartwatch hybrid is not only practical, it is also fashionable. Mine came with a black silicone strap which I use for working out or to sleep. This beautiful rose gold one I got via amazon and this is what I use when I wear it outside in my daily life. So gorgeous..

How to stay on top of Life & Work.

As a libra, I love the balance. I love harmony in every aspect of my life. So I have a very balanced view on being organised. I think planning too strictly, meaning leaving no room for spontaneous ideas, kills creativity and deprives you of a lot of fun things in life. But on the other side, I love to clear out, to make lists and to just be on top of things. If you want to know my top tips on how I try to achieve this.. this is the post you've been waiting for.

First of all, this is not rocket science. I still procrastinate sometimes and I could definitely improve. So this won't be a guide to be the perfect human, more like some tips and tricks that could make your day to day life a little more efficient.

1. To-do lists are a must!
They really are. Whenever I have a to-do list for my day, I just get way more done. When I just jump right into working without one I end up starting a million tasks without finishing them and it's all just a big mess. Did you ever wake up at midnight because you remember that one very important thing you forgot to do that day? To-do lists are the key. I even like to go a step further and divide them into similar groups of tasks.. yes I am weird like that.

2. Clear out every season!
This is something I totally mastered. I love clearing out so much and getting rid of stuff I don't need anymore. Some people might have a hard time throwing/giving things away but there is something about it that makes me feel so calm and clear. I personally clean out every two months but every season should be fine for the "normal" person, haha.

3. Tidy room, tidy mind!
This is something that goes hand in hand with number two. A tidy room will clear your mind and let you be focused on your tasks and more importantly: gives your mind room for creativity.

4. Use your Sunday wisely!
I am totally with you when all you want to do on a Sunday is watching Netflix and eat some yummy food. But there is one thing that can have a huge impact on the coming week and if you do it right it only takes about 30 minutes: planning. Try to schedule the next week as good as possible. Obviously, life is not perfect and things will pop up and you might have to rearrange during the week, but that's fine. Having a semi-schedule for the upcoming week helps you to stay on track and will make you feel so much more prepared and calm.

5. Remove the BuzzFeed app and unfollow them on twitter!
Haha, otherwise you will never get shit done. That's a scientific fact.

I hope you are having a relaxed Sunday so far and already scheduled your next week!
